Global Team Structure
A critical element in the success of the U & X Group, Inc approach to managing onshore/offshore software
development is the team concept that U & X Group has developed. When a customer engages with U & X Group,
Inc for a project, a local team composed of U & X's project manager, business analyst and technical architect
is assembled and assigned to the project. That local team, reporting to U & X Group's executives, will then
have direct responsibilities for understanding all relevant aspects of the customer's business, the business
requirements of the project, the technical requirements and project specifications.
This team will stay assigned to the project through completion and act as the liaison to a
shadow team operating the U & X Group, Inc offshore development facility. At the offshore development
facility there will be a team that is assigned to have a project manager, QA director, development
manager and development teams. The locally based U & X team, using a full range of telecommunications
and internet enabled tools, will act as the liaison between the customer and the application
development.
